We run monthly “ask the MD” meetings across all our businesses, and this gives everyone the chance to ask questions, make suggestions and discuss anything on their mind with their Managing Director. This approach was particularly effective during COVID -19 and ensured everyone stayed connected and understood what was happening and how Restore supported teams and people during this difficult time.
We continue to be ambitious and have a strategy to ensure Restore remains a great place to work with further investment in our values, leadership and skills development. We are excited for our future.
At Restore, we are focused on creating sustainable careers for our people and communities across the UK. We are committed to Zero to Landfill, ensuring our fleet of vehicles have minimum toxic emissions with a focus on electric vehicles. We give our customers access to a customer service portal, where they can generate their own sustainability reports which allows them to see how much they have recycled and how much they have reduced their environmental impact.
Along with our commitment to sustainability, we also partner with several charities and organisations, including “business 2 schools”, where we donate laptops and technical equipment, and “Crisis at Christmas”, where we donate our vans to help deliver beds and beddings to homeless shelters.
My team is amazing. My work colleagues work so hard and we work so well as a team. No two days are the same and I enjoy the challenges and changes this brings. I’m doing different things each day and I’m proud of what I have achieved here.
